Introduction: In this program; basically, theoretical and practical education-training activities are carried out on subjects related to preparing the patient for examination, positioning the patient for examination for diagnosis and treatment of diseases, obtaining quality images with medical imaging devices such as conventional and digital x-ray, fluoroscopy, computerized tomography, mammography, gamma camera, PET-CT and ultrasonography, making films and images ready for use, radiotherapy techniques, checking and maintaining devices and equipment, and developing knowledge and skills related to these devices.

The main purpose of the Medical Imaging Program; To train qualified radiology technicians who have the knowledge and skills to learn the anatomical and physiological basis of the structures and functions of the components that make up the human body; to be able to explain anatomical formations and related terminological concepts, to prepare the patient for examination for diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radiologic techniques, to obtain images with devices such as conventional and digital x-ray, computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound, and to be able to check and maintain devices and equipment.

Job Opportunities: Our graduates from this program can be employed in conventional X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Vascular Angiography, Nonvascular Interventional Radiology units, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy departments in public and private hospitals and private imaging centers.

Graduation Requirements: 120 ECTS and successful completion of Compulsory Summer Internship.
