Introduction: A person who performs physical therapy applications under the supervision of a specialist physician and physiotherapist in order to assist in the treatment of individuals who have physical disabilities due to any reason (accident, trauma, sports injury, etc.) from birth or later and to increase their quality of life.
The main purpose of the Physiotherapy Program: To train auxiliary health personnel who are equipped enough to perform physical therapy applications applied to patients under the supervision of a physical therapist and physiotherapist.
Job Opportunities: Physical Therapy technicians can work in state hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health, university research hospitals, private hospitals, rehabilitation centers, private education centers, sports/health centers, sports clubs, nursing homes, spa/thermal facilities, etc.
Education Duration: 2 Years
Diploma Type: Associate Degree
Graduation Requirements: 120 ECTS and successfully completing the Compulsory Summer Internship.
