First of all, I would like to thank all of you for choosing Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Health Services Vocational School (SHMYO) in this blessed journey you have embarked on to undertake an important mission such as serving our country and its people, contributing to public health for a more livable and healthy world.
In today's rapidly changing and developing living conditions, technological inventions put into practice and scientific studies carried out have made great contributions to the prevention and understanding of many problems experienced in the field of health with simpler methods. These rapid developments have given rise to different areas of specialization and subsequently employment opportunities in the field of health, as in many other fields.
As Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Health Services Vocational School, our mission is to be an educational institution that undertakes to train highly qualified individuals who are respectful of universal values, have the knowledge, skills and equipment needed in the health sector, can keep up with developing and changing technology, are open to disciplined work, use resources effectively, integrate with society, and have associate degree level, professionally competent, and have social values. On this path that we set out with the slogan of “New Turkey’s Innovative University”, we are proud to be the First and Only University in our country to receive the Quality Management System Certificate with all its units, with the awareness of our mission.
As SHMYO, we carry out our education and training activities in our classrooms and laboratories located in the Bağbaşı Campus of our University. In addition to our classrooms and laboratories, we continue our practical activities in Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Education and Research Hospital and its affiliated units, which have expert staff and sufficient technological infrastructure.
Our Health Services Vocational School continues its education with three departments (Medical Services and Techniques, Health Care Services and Therapy and Rehabilitation) and nine programs (Medical Documentation and Secretarial, First and Emergency Aid Program, Elderly Care, Electroneurophysiology, Medical Laboratory Techniques, Medical Imaging Techniques, Opticianry, Orthopedic Prosthesis and Orthosis, Physiotherapy). In line with contemporary and scientific education and training principles, it is of great importance as the mission of our college to train professional health personnel equipped with leadership qualities who can provide health services nationally and internationally.
In addition to the departments and programs within our Vocational School, we ensure that our valuable students benefit effectively from vertical transfer applications that can be included in their career planning with up-to-date course curricula and course adaptations are realized to the maximum extent.
